The Facility
Welcome to 68 Jay Street in Brooklyn's iconic DUMBO neighborhood.
Built in 1914, originally serving as the massive headquarters and factory for the Grand Union Tea Company, it spans 10 acres of floor space.
We provide a 2,400 SF comfortable recording environment featuring a treasure trove of vintage, one-of-a-kind, high-fidelity recording gear powered by state-of-the-art Pro Tools HD & HDX MTRX running through a Sony MXP-3000 console. We have dozens of Mics, Amps, Drums, Acoustic and Electric pianos to play with.
The gear is itself as legendary as the icons who passed it down to us.

Bez Vise is an artist.
Born in Latvia in 1984, his first piano recital was at age 5. By 16, he was performing at Lincoln Center.
Bez studied at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts in New York City, the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Lucy Moses School of Music and the Manhattan School of Music.
Whether as a signed producer, writer, composer or engineer, Bez has worked with Platinum producers, Grammy winning engineers and Billboard charting artists at top studios, with his work garnering over 100M streams.
In 2012, Bez launched Pro Tools NYC, a music production certification program, whose clients include: Apple News, A+E Networks, BMCC, CUNY, Columbia University, Metropolitan Museum of Art, NBC Universal, NYU, NPR, PRX, PBS, The New York Public Library, The New York Times, Sony Music and OPEN DOORS. Bez worked with OPEN DOORS to create studios to use as healing for victims of spinal cord injury due to gun violence at their nursing home.
He received his MFA in Sonic Arts from Fierstein School Of Cinema and has bi-annual sound and video exhibitions at the Fiterman Art Center in Tribeca as a lecturer at BMCC CUNY.
John Nickles is a multi-instrumentalist, artist-producer-auteur who makes his home in Brooklyn.
Session player, songwriter and engineer with over 40 years of experience writing, playing, performing and recording super catchy, uber-hooky, power pop, alternative rock and adult contemporary songs with a commercial flair.
His songs have been featured on TV shows worldwide and radio stations across the US.
He is a former member of the Nashville Songwriter's Association, the New York Songwriter's Collective and the Songwriter's Guild.
